Therapy-Specific Disclosures
Therapy Class
Regulatory Status & Key Caveats
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Dispensed through 503A/503B FDA-regulated compounding pharmacies. These customized formulations are not individually FDA-approved and may lack large-scale safety/efficacy data.
Peptide Therapies
Offered only if the peptide can be sourced from a 503A/503B FDA-regulated facility in compliance with current FDA guidance. Compounded peptides remain unapproved drugs; clinical evidence is limited and evolving.
GLP-1 Agonists (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide)
Whenever possible we prescribe FDA-approved brands. During an FDA-declared shortage, we may supply a 503B-compounded, FDA-regulated version, which is still not FDA-approved.

Results & Risk Acknowledgement
No Guarantee: Outcomes differ by age, baseline health, lifestyle, and adherence.
Inherent Risks: All hormone, peptide, and GLP-1 therapies carry potential side-effects; your clinician will discuss these before treatment.
Off-Label Use: Certain therapies may be prescribed for indications not listed in the drug’s FDA-approved labeling.
Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth relies on self-reported data and virtual assessments; it cannot replace an in-person physical exam or emergency care. Service may be unavailable or discontinued if remote evaluation is clinically insufficient or prohibited by state law.
Emergency Statement
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on the Content, email, or text messages for urgent or life-threatening situations.
State-Law & Licensure Notice
PP presently facilitates services only for Colorado residents. MM clinicians hold active Colorado licenses and comply with all Colorado telehealth statutes. Should you relocate, you must notify us so we can confirm licensure coverage in your new state.
